Red spotted rash all over body?

Hives: This could honestly be a ton of things. .. But the most likely explanation is hives/urticaria. Rash all over body and sporadic. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) subsides it for a while. Has been 36 hours.?

General dermatitis: Rashes are difficult to diagnose over the computer. History plays a large role; ie, any precipitating event-did you change detergents, new body wash, expose yourself to anyone else with a rash, do recent yard work, etc. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) will help subside the itch and redness for most rashes, but is often not a cure. Avoid the cause is the real cure, and steroid creams are helpful too. An appt is best. ...Read more

Maybe: In order to know how serious the rash may be more information is needed.
