Hives: This could honestly be a ton of things. .. But the most likely explanation is hives/urticaria. Try identifying what has changed since it started (new soap, laundry, food, etc), eliminating the "trigger" helps. Also, consider trying an antihistamine (ie, Benedryl / Zyrtec). Rash all over body apart from face after 2 weeks taking Lutera pills for 1st time, it doesn't really itch, is it normal?

History plays a large role; ie, any precipitating event-did you change detergents, new body wash, expose yourself to anyone else with a rash, do recent yard work, etc. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) will help subside the itch and redness for most rashes, but is often not a cure. I have strep and mono with rash all over body if the rash is going away does that mean the strep and mono is going away too?
Amoxicillin?: Were you prescribed Amoxicillin for the strep throat? If so, the combination of a mono infection plus amoxicillin can cause a rash. Once you are done with the amoxicillin, the rash will subside. Alternatively, you can get a "sandpaper" rash from strep itself. That subsides when the strep infection is improving.
