Sudafed With Mucinex
Today I was told I could take sudafed and mucinex D together. Took mucinex D 12 hour at noon and 2 sudafed every 4 hours. That's 240 mg of pseudoephedrine in like 12 hours. Am I going to be ok? Is this bad? Just realized it has the same ingredient

I am debating between taking Sudafed or Mucinex I have a lot of mucus and nasal congestion. Which one will you recommend provide faster releive?
Not sure what to take? Sudafed or Mucinex (guaifenesin). Trying to get over nasty residual effects of flu, I.e phlegm and congestion.
Meds for flu symptom:

Plain Mucinex (guaifenesin) helps if you also drink lots of water, by making the mucus more fluid so it runs out rather than getting stuck.
Can be taken in combination as in Mucinex D. ...Read more
