Can Allegra be taken with Paxil, nortriptyline, and Aleve and hydrochlorothiazide, and dulera (formoterol and mometasone)?
It is usually: Not a good idea to take antihistamines with psychotropics such as nortriptyline or SSRIs. They potentiate sedative effects. I would see a healthcare provider who is familiar with your health to see if you can safely stop one of the two psychotropics while you are on Allegra, (fexofenadine) if you absolutely need to take it for allergic rhinitis or sinus problems. The others should not interfere too much. ...Read more
Can i take sudafed (pseudo ephedrine only), Mucinex (guaifenesin) (expectorant and decongestant), and nyquil all at once?
No,why would you?: Cozaar (losartan) is an arb class of blood pressure lowering medication, appropriate for those w/high blood pressure or hypertension. Midodrine is an Alpha receptor agonist used to treat patients w/orthostatic hypotension, whose blood pressure falls when they change positions. I can't imagine too many patients w/htn who are orthostatic w/treatment where you'd add another med rather than give fluids, etc. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Yes, but, be careful: Any dehydration will make Lisinopril slow down your kidney function. So, if you have anorexia, vomiting, diarrhea (causing mild dehydration), the maxzide (hydrocholorthiazide and triamterene) will make your dehydration worse due to obligatory urine (water) loss caused by maxzide (hydrocholorthiazide and triamterene) (a diuretic). In this case, Lisinopril will be deleterious to your kidneys until you correct the dehydration. So, if you are losing fluids hold maxzide (hydrocholorthiazide and triamterene). ...Read more

No additional risk: You are on a lot of medication and they seem important - but do review them w/ your Dr(s) and always do when a new one is added. The melatonin adds no risk to the mix but some there already can cause moderate issues that ought not stop you but should be watched. Best wishes! ...Read more

BP meds can do this: Impotence are listed potential side effects of hydralazine, amlodipine and losartan. Potentially, any of the antihypertensive medicines can do this. Yes: You can take them together. Allegra (fexofenadine) 24 hour is a nonsedating antihistamine and Sudafed PE is a decongestant. This would be similar to taking allegra (fexofenadine) D. What you do not want to do is take Allegra (fexofenadine) D with sudafed, then you would get too much decongestant. Also you want to avoid decongestants if you have certain conditions like hypertension. Also don't take the sudafed at bedtime. ...Read more
