Get an exam: Sublingual gland or submandibular gland? I would recommend an exam by an ENT before telling you this is nothing. Something that has been there for years and nonchanged is likely nothing to be concerned about, but i would feel better having seen it first. Could be salivary: Gland, but it could also be a lymph node. Sometimes its difficult to tell the difference. If it comes and goes, it doesn't sound like a malignancy, but it could be intermittent blockage. See a head neck surgeon, he can tel you for sure. ...Read more

Probably normal: We are all slightly asymmetric...One ear higher than the other, one big toe more curved than the other, etc. If you're concerned, ask your family dentist to take a look, make sure there are no abnormalities, stones in the duct, etc. ...Read more
