Take care of you.: Tips: sore throat – gargle with warm salt water (1/2 tsp salt in 8 oz of water). Get strep test/culture if very sore. Congestion – saline nose drops or netti pot. For anti-inflammatory effect & mobilizing mucus- homemade chicken noodle soup. Hydrate- lots of water/clear broth/ add honey & a small amt. Of lemon juice to chamomile tea.. 3 weeks: 3 weeks with headaches is too long as is the phlegm with blood. The quickest way to get good care is to have someone take you to the nearest Emergency facility. Those are rapid breathing (more than 24 x/min); nasal flaring;?; chest retractions; and use of the accessory muscles of respiration.
