Depends: What is best is what would work the best for you since everyone responds to medication differently. Although we tend to use more topical sprays for nasal and drops for eye symptoms, i presume you are referring to oral liquid in that case, your best bet may be zyrtec syrup. ...Read more

Chest pain could be from strained muscles in the chest wall from severe coughing. Less likely possibilities include pneumonia or an air leak from the lungs called pneumothorax or pneumomediastinum.
