Ill after exercise: May be over exertion or dehydration post work out or reflux or unrelated ill. If you drink a lot of water you can dilute your sodium so you should always alternate water with gatorade/juices, rarely rhabodmyolysis which is seen in marathon runners ( so you would have had to be on the elliiptical 1.5-2 hours).
