I have strep throat deep coughing sneezing feeling weak and right now don't have energy to do anything. What am I coming down with?

Strep v mono

Strep
Have you had a swab of your throat for diagnosis? If not, and if you've never had mono before, it could be mono. That would make you fatigued. Your family doc could send you for the blood test. If you have strep, your body just may be fatigued from fighting the infection. Good luck.

35 weeks pregnant. previously diagnosed with bronchiectasis. now having strep throat and coughing with green mucus . Wondering if dtor's prescrip of co azithromycin250 mg for 5 days can treat both ?

Depends....

Bronchiectasis
If the bacteria causing the strep throat and bronchitis are sensitive to the azithromycin, then it will treat both. But, because of the bronchiectasis, you may have some lung bacteria that may not be sensitive to azithromycin. So, if the green sputum persists, or if your symptoms worsen, see your doctor again. You may need a sputum culture to find out what bacteria are causing the bronchitis!

I was around my niece yesterday and she got diganosed with strep throat. Today ive been coughing and my throat hurts, should I get tested?

If persists

Sore_throat
"Strept throat" is contagious, especially with close contact. If your symproms persist and or worsen, than certainly getting tested yourself would not be a bad idea. Good luck.

I just recently got diagnosed with strep throat and I'm coughing and sneezing real badly. What can I do to solve this issue? Only within 3-4 days!

OTC cough and cold

Neck-throat
It is more likely that you are a strep carrier given you also are coughing and sneezing. All of your symptoms could be attributable to a virus and you might try OTC cough and cold medicines. If it is viral it will resolve in a few days. Do you have asthma and allergies? If so, consult your physician for specific asthma and allergy medications for your symptoms.

Dr. Curt Stankovic answered:

Does coughing up yellow flem mean strep throat?

No

Pharynx
A productive cough is not typically associated with Strep pharyngitis. A viral upper respiratory tract infection is the most common cause of sputum. However, if you develop high fevers or shortness of breath you should be evaluated by your primary care provider.

You should go see your primary care provider again. Maybe you have something on top of the strep throat.

Are there any particular types of cough drops that help the most with strep throat?

Interesting question

Honey
Of course, strep throat infections don't usually cause cough, so I guess you're asking if cough drops can soothe your throat pain. Sucking on lozenges of any type may temporarily relieve some of these symptoms, but acetaminophen or ibuprofen work better for most people. A tablespoon of honey may be helpful, too. Some folks like to gargle with warm salt water, although that always made me sick.
