See your dentist : At this point, i can not tell you what your problem is but I do strongly suggest that you see your dentist as soon as possible. Since you have swelling and difficulty opening your jaw, this should be diagnosed and treated immediately to prevent complications. Additional teeth: Impacted teeth can be a problem. Especially when they become slightly uncovered. Food enters and becomes trapped in the space around the tooth. Food then rots, your body fights it an an infection follows. Get this check out. Either the impacted tooth is orthodontically erupted or it should be taken out. Metronidazole: This is from the metronidazole, which sometimes causes a peculiar taste in the mouth, often called "metallic" (similar to what a piece of iron might taste like). It's not harmful and will go away when you have finished treatment. (FYI, this is an atypical combination of antibiotics for a vaginal infection. I wonder if the amoxicillin is necessary. Maybe check with your doctor.) ...Read more
