My body acts weird. Everytime I use Zyrtec (cetirizine) drops I get very little drowsy only on the first dose. My tolerance goes away if I stop it for long. Why?

Low WBC and taking Zyrtec (cetirizine) for 2 wks now for allergies, I have been told to stop Zyrtec (cetirizine) at least 1week before re-check wbc, can someone explain why?
No: No zyrtec (cetirizine) would not work in this case. It looks like you have a systemic food allergy reaction and that can be dangerous. Currently using Zyrtec (cetirizine) and Rinoclenil for my chronic rhinitis and I have a vaccine to make in a few days. Should I stop any of these?
Not much different: There are not much difference between two medications and they are weak medications for allergy symptoms. It might work in the beginning but you would need stronger and better treatment methods if your symptoms persist. ...Read more
