I started Yasmin birth control today after being off for five months. I am reading stats on the chance of blood clots and have myself worried, I'm young workout and had been on this medication for almost five years before stopping. Is Yasmin safe ?

Generally yes...: I would want to know how old you are & if you have have any kidney probs before saying 100% yes. However, this should in general be safe & most OCPs can actually isbe taken for three months at a time with good safety in most women & then a break is recommended.
