Can stress effect blood sugar levels - lowering them? Not diabetic. Usual breakfast of miniwheats giving me reactive hypoglycemia all week.
Stress increases: Glucose. I have never seen a real case of reactive hypoglycemia. The disorder doesn't exist, if you're overweight the symptoms are a natural response to your glucose level returning to normal. A glucose tolerance test (if you've had one) is not and never will be a valid diagnostic test for hypoglycemia. Don't waste your money o GTT or any fad diets of treatments. Add healthy carb: Gluten free does not mean compete carb free but veggies and fruit - fresh produce and dairy as fermented products ( Yogurt , Kefir) , low fat cheese, Avocado, nuts. all these foods supply good energy and balanced carbs and protein.
