How i can stop taking dexamethasone doc? It seem i misuse it. I used it for a long time, and when i try to stop, my body is weak, and back to use.
My wife has been taking dexamethasone for about a week to prevent miscarriage. We read some troubling research about the drug and want to stop. Should we stop at once or gradually decrease the dosage?
Need more details: Don't know why your wife was given dexamethasone, but don't stop it suddenly without discussing w/your doctor. Don't believe all you read during your research without discussing that as well. ...Read more

Small risk: I would take the advice of your endocrinologist, as he/she knows you best. There's minimal risk with steroids in early pregnancy, i believe the biggest risk is cleft lip/palate which is easily corrected should it occur (risk is very low).
