Ask your Doctor: You have to ask your doctor as to what was the cause of your jaundice and what your liver functions are
you apparently had a drinking problem and if you have not had a drink for five months I will suggest you don't start drinking again
but discuss it with your doctor who knows your case

It sounds like: You may have "Gilbert's Syndrome" a BENIGN elevation of" unconjugated " ("direct") Bilirubin! This elevation is NORMAL for YOU!!! (It may vary depending upon your general health! BTW It sounds like you may be "worried" about your alcohol consumption. this is i=often a sign that you are drinking too much....Just sayin
