Anything that: Causes increased intra abdominal pressure is bad for gerd. Nothing is a guarantee, but changing your posture is simple enough--try it, maybe it would help your symptoms, even if it doesn't make it go away completely. Your posture is probably bad for your back anyway. ...Read more

Hunched over desk @work due to poor unfixable eyesight. Shoulders , arms , trapezium, and now thighs all very strained and very weak. What can I do?
Glasses? Stretching: Your eyesight may be poor but a good optometrist or ophthalmologist souls be able to help you with an improvement in vision so you don't hunch over your computer as much. In addition it would certainly be worthwhile for you to learn proper stretching exercises and to do them for 10 minutes prior to start of work. Not really: Any comfortable sleeping position may be used, and none of the positions add height more than any other position. All the comfortable positions will add the same slight amount of height, because weight is taken off the spine during sleep (the vertical downward force of gravity is not acting vertically upon a person's spine, during typical sleep in a bed).
