Glasses? Stretching: Your eyesight may be poor but a good optometrist or ophthalmologist souls be able to help you with an improvement in vision so you don't hunch over your computer as much. In addition it would certainly be worthwhile for you to learn proper stretching exercises and to do them for 10 minutes prior to start of work. Get up and change position every 30 minutes for about 1 minute, that too can help. ...Read more

All the comfortable positions will add the same slight amount of height, because weight is taken off the spine during sleep (the vertical downward force of gravity is not acting vertically upon a person's spine, during typical sleep in a bed).
