Yes: I'm not sure what the "sudden bowel change" is but a change in stool consistency can irritate internal or external hemorrhoids. Also changes in the bowels with blood can be associated with inflammatory bowel diseases (eg crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis) or cancer. Can't tell.: No way to tell from the info. If there is truly blood then IBD must be a consideration, but plenty of people with IBS have blood related to constipation or hemorrhoids or another common cause. Best to see your doc for an exam.
