I tried a test run drinking a 10oz bottle of magnesium citrate. Will be having colonoscopy 9/13, now very nauseous.How can I prevent nausea next time?
Why would bowel preps not work? Poor prep with colyte (polyethylene glycol). Now on 2 day prep starting w/ mag. Citrate. No bm after 9 hours. Followed directions exactly!

Constant feeling of needing to poop with rectal pain. Took magnesium citrate but even though it works it didn't help. No diet change or fever.
2nd opinion needed: If you are having the rectal pain with need to poop, and have not gotten any solid answers, it time to consult your pcp doctor, who can refer you to a proctologist, who can measure the pressure of your rectal sphincter to see if it's working or not. Mag citrate makes you poop more, aggravating the issue more than helping it. Discuss this with your doctor. Also a stool analysis may be useful. ...Read more

I had 105 multifocal pvcs on my last holter test. If these pvcs are bad and can trigger deadly arrythmias why isnt my dr worried?
Maybe they're not: While this holter is "abnormal, " it is entirely possible to have 105 pvcs and have no abnormal prognosis from the condition.
