Is it normal to feel little spasms and twitches in lower abdomen during early pregnancy. Also what feelings are normal during early pregnancy.?

Is it normal to feel little spasms and twitches in lower abdomen during early pregnancy. Also what feelings are normal during early pregnancy.?

Yes: Your uterus is a muscle and it will spasm. Make sure not peeing all the time. If the pain goes to one side and is getting worse and you haven't had an ultrasound, get one. The risk of a pregnancy in the tube is about 1-2/1000 but needs to be dealt with. Otherwise generally nausea early.

Twitching in lower abdomen, pregnancy signs?

Twitching in lower abdomen, pregnancy signs?

Maybe: After 18-20 weeks pregnancy, pregnant women ill be "showing", with visible enlargement of the abdomen. Around that time, "quickening" occurs, which is the first sensation or perception of fetal movement. If you think you're pregnant, do a test and see your doctor.

Is twitching in lower abdomen pregnacy?

Is twitching in lower abdomen pregnacy?

Nope: Not in the lower abdomen, Not in the upper abdomen, Not twitching in a box, Not twitching with a fox! I do not like Green Eggs and Ham. I do not Like them Sam I am. Couldn't resist that memory spark. Perhaps Dr. Seuss would've found a way to incorporate that into a rhyme had he been a gynecologist! Pregnancy's not predicted by abdominal twitching. Talk to me about the pregnancy test.

I keep getting fluttery twitches in my lower abdomen, I'm on the implant and done a pregnancy test which was negative, any idea as to what it could be?

Where is your: implant? If it is in your abdomen, perhaps your abdominal muscles are twitching because they do not like the hormones there. In all seriousness Muscles twitch because they are fatigued or spasm b/c overuse, like vigorous exercise or dehydration or electrolyte abnormalities (like low potassium or magnesium). Abdominal heaviness a sign of early pregnancy?

Not reliable: Abdominal heaviness is not a reliable sign of early pregnancy. More reliable is a missed period, nausea, breast tenderness. Check a pregnancy test starting 2-5 days after the first day of the missed period. Abdominal heaviness more likely to be intestinal, possibly related to food impacting intestines.

Is it possible that abdominal growling be a early sign of pregnancy?

Although increased: Gas can occur with pregnancy - this is by no means an indicator for pregnancy. So, if you have missed your period - recommend taking a home pregnancy test so that you know one way or another.

My lower left abdomen feels bruised. Is this a symptom of early pregnancy? Also I usually have 7 day periods. Then suddenly had a 2 day one.

My lower left abdomen feels bruised. Is this a symptom of early pregnancy? Also I usually have 7 day periods. Then suddenly had a 2 day one.

My adivse is to: Get a home pregnancy test and go from there. You sound like you could be pregnant assuming your sexually active, which I assume you are or wouldn't be asking :-) If your worried about family and friends, share with those you trust. If you are pregnant, it's important ot have support people in place. Best to you and be well!

Light abdomen pain during early pregnancy is it normal?

Don't think so...: Abdominal discomfort during pregnancy is not to be ignored--its a warning sign that something may be wrong. Please see my many healthtap answers on the subject of what causes abdominal pain. Not all such problems are serious, but you don't want to miss the problem that is. Will a CT of the abdomen show a very early ectopic pregnancy?

Will a CT of the abdomen show a very early ectopic pregnancy?

Ultrasound is better: The best way to determine the presence of an ectopic pregnancy is: 1. A pelvic exam 2. Hcg levels that are rising abnormally 3. Ultrasound ultrasound is a far superior way to detect an ectopic, especially when it is very early. If it were seen on ct scan, then it is much further along and extremely dangerous.

According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
