Stomach pains.: This could be one of several things, so some testing would be required at this point. The story you've listed argues towards hernia. I have a burning sensation at the top of the stomach..Pain occurs in early hours of morning. Pain also moves into midsection. Unbearable! HELP?

Doubt IBS: Usually Irritable Bowel Syndrome causes cramping and either constipation or diarrhea. Not usual for it to cause burning pain or pain in back, or blood in stools. See your doctor and get checked, if symptoms persist, you may need to see a gastroenterologist. Good luck! ...Read more
