I was prescribed oxycodone 5ml recently for my chronic pain. After taking one I experienced stomach pain radiating into chest and back. Is this normal?
Could be: Opioids like Oxycodone act on the gut, and can cause constipation, nausea, cramps. Abdominal pain with radiation isn't common from one dose. Could happen. If it persists, get checked out. I'm not a big fan of oxycodone for chronic pain, but it can be safe if used properly.
