It could be from something going on with the ovary on that side. It could be from something going on with the colon or small intestine on the side. Where in your abdomen (upper, mid, lower) do you experience discomfort? Duration pain lasts? Is pain deep or superficial? Have you seen blood with stool or change in bowels? Colon To Semicolon?: You should think about Diverticulitis or a Ureteral Stone. Obviously much more information is needed but those are probably the biggies. Kidney maybe: Pain in that area could be a kidney stone or could be gallbladder, especially if associated with fatty foods and accompanied by nausea and vomiting. If kidney stone the pain may get much worse and there may be blood in urine. Gallbladder may eventually cause right sided chest and arm pain.
