Most people will describe pain in any part of abdomen as stomach pain, it is what many patients say but in medical terms it is pain in the stomach which is located in middle of upper abdomen, so real stomach pain is the pain localised in anatomic stomach.

Many: It could be food sensitivity, allergies, lactose intolerance (dairy problem) too much food, gas, blockage of some sort, malabsorption, type of food, etc. Keep a food journal and see if you can identify if a particular type of food is the problem. Not usually unless..: You are correct..Your healthy stomach has powerfull acid and thus adding sour foods here and there is not a big deal. But, if you have problems such as ulcers, gastritis etc..Which may be from hypersecretion of acid (more than usual) to start with, then adding acidic foods (sour) may/more likely cause stomach upset/trouble for you.
