What's under hood?: Sounds like your car engine could use a tune up! I'd recommend seeing a primary care physician who can start the process by finding out when each problem began to discover its root cause (if possible). Labs & other studies will likely be needed. How about PT: Well, I know you're in pain with all that you've said..you haven't specified the nature of the abdominal injury so I don't know whether or not you are bedbound right now or able to get up and move about? Is there a plan to surgerize the back with everything there? I wouldn't necessarily unless it's your only option. Can neck strain during exercise cause lhermitte's sign (sit ups, push ups, stair climbing).Began w/pulled muscle in lower back&spread to neck.
Really shouldn't: Understand that lhermitte's sign is a shock-like sensation that radiates to arms and legs during a flexion or forced flexion maneuver of the neck.
