Gas and acid reflux: These symptoms seem related to stomach and intestinal gas with acid reflux. You may also be relatively constipated. I recommend adding much more fiber to your diet, like high fiber cereal, oatmeal, apple, pear, celery and avoiding banana and greasy meat and pasta and sauce. Eat smaller amounts. Drink 2-3 liters of fluid per day in small sips. Do not gulp. Take simethicone. ...Read more

Have IBS-C and have had a lot of gas/abd. Pain (mid stomach)and bad back pain. Saw doctor. Got IV. Ran b.w. + urinalysis. WBC, ALT slightly up. Thoughts?

Scared have colon cancer family history 60+. Yellow brown stool occasional gas. Left side back pain. Min. If not any stomach pain. Started 2 weeks ago?

Try not to worry: The symptoms you describe are not consistent with colon cancer. My recommendation is for you to develop a plan with your primary care doctor for screening for colon cancer.
