Could be: We do not usually draw any conclusions when the menstrual cycle is just a few days shorter than usual especially during the middle of a major illness. Iron rich foods: It's best to get this evaluated by your doctor - as in 'how low' are your numbers, and therefore 'what goals' can you set to recover? I would want to see your Iron Panel and a Complete Blood Count (CBC) in your case. Iron supplements can be taken-- over the counter even. Or you can increase iron with certain foods - red meats, beans, spinach/dark green veggies, raisins, DARK chocolate, etc. ...Read more
