I have the stomach flu for 3 days and i just came off my period and im highly anemic what can do to help bring my iron up?

Iron rich foods: It's best to get this evaluated by your doctor - as in 'how low' are your numbers, and therefore 'what goals' can you set to recover? I would want to see your Iron Panel and a Complete Blood Count (CBC) in your case. Iron supplements can be taken-- over the counter even. Or you can increase iron with certain foods - red meats, beans, spinach/dark green veggies, raisins, DARK chocolate, etc. ...Read more

See below: The only tie-in would be if you caught it from one of the hospital personnel. On the other hand, stomach flu should subside in less than a week.
