If you cannot keep liquids down (juice, water, etc.) then you need to go to urgent care or doctor for IV fluids. Very easy to get dehydrated when pregnant. If blood in diarrhea --> see doc. ...Read more

Stomach flu 2 days ago vomiting and dieherra only took gravol I stopped getting symptoms but now have dark stools could it be from gravol or flu?

Several possibilitie: Dark stool is usually not a symptom of a GI virus. If the stool is black or dark red in color and has a foul odor, it could be a sign of G.I. bleeding. I think I have the stomach flu. Sunday I was vomiting all day was also dizzy and unsteady walking. I feel much better today, but still a little shaky.

You May be Right!: "I may be crazy...HEY! But it just may be a lunatic you're looking for..." If you had predominantly GI issues but if that's all improved, I would be willing to accept gastric virus as a probable cause. Drink TONS of fluid. Remember the rule....drink (in ounces) half the number of your weight (in pounds) on a daily basis. If sick...add 20% to that baseline. ...Read more

I live in Sweden and My doctor gave me zofran (ondansetron) to take when I get the stomach flu to take away vomiting. Do zofran (ondansetron) help? Scared of vomit, panic!

Good for vomiting.: If you are questioning the efficacy of Zofran (ondansetron) for vomiting, I can tell you that it's very good for that. What I don't approve of is the indiscriminate treatment of vomiting or nausea without a doctor's close supervision. Vomiting is a symptom, which can be caused by many diagnoses. Treating a symptom without knowing the diagnosis can lead to trouble. ...Read more
