Watch for increasing pain or fever. I recommend you see your doctor in the next few days if this doesn't resolve. Not likely: It is not likely, but you need to ask the MD who did the ablation procedure if there can be a cause for the bloating and weight gain. ...Read more

Those are questions: That you should ask your doc who did the novasure and your doc should have told u what to expect post op, please call your doc , you can have discharge afterwards that is the drainage from the coagulated tissue but u should not be having cramping 1 week post op unless u are on your period. ...Read more

Call your doctor: Not normal , you need evaluation immediately, if necessary go to the er but call your doc first, I do thermachoice in office and cannot remember the last time i had a pt get an infection, very uncommon in my practice but it can happen and you must make sure you are on the right meds and nothing else is going on. ...Read more

Novasure & IUD???: It is quite unusual to have a novasure and an iud placed. Generally, you should have permanent sterilization prior to novasure. I believe it is relatively contraindicated to have an iud after a novasure. I recommend you get a 2nd opinion. ...Read more

Yes, likely normal: Endometrial ablation is a procedure to destroy the lining of the uterus with a goal of decreasing menstrual flow. The procedure causes a normal watery, bloody discharge for several weeks. During that time, many women will have increased cramping due to cervical dilation.
