Needs to be checked: At your age any pain in in left chest needs to be checked. It may be due to chest wall pain, due to gastro esophageal reflux, cardiac pain or from the lungs.
Only way we can say what it may be from by taking a detailed history, doing comprehensive physical exam and if indicated doing imaging tests, blood tests, ekg etc.

Tough to say: Difficult to speculate without more info. A common cause of nipple irritation in a young woman is a poorly fitting bra especially if athletic/a runner. A rash can also develop on a breast just like anywhere else from an allergy or irritant reaction. Related to Sleep: If it is only in the borning on waking up and just a sting which goes away and no symptoms all day and no palpable lump. I will say it may be related to way you sleep in bed.
