Yes: It depends in part on the cause of the TOS. You are describing the distribution of the c7 nerve, which can definitely be compressed in TOS, especially if your neck MRI is normal. ...Read more

Could be your neck: Have your doctor check you for neck problems which can press on the nerves going to the shoulder and arm. It could also be coming from a muscle spasm in he upper shoulder. ...Read more

See therapist: When you have an injury as serious as a rotator cuff, the rehab should really be under the guidance of a licensed OT or PT, unless you yourself are a therapist and understand the therapy. Once you have been to a therapist for a while, you can do self-directed therapy. Suggest you just see an OT and see if they can help you ...Read more

Nerves "shoot" : The pattern described is commonly seen with irritation of cervical nerve root impingement, possibly c4 and c5 in this case. Brachial plexopathy can cause a similar pattern, but usually see numbness, weakness, tingling, or burning with this, often times the symptoms reported improve after the muscle spasm is treated.
