Stiff Painful Hands
I have neck pain and stiffness. I have tingling and numbness in hands and fingers and some tingling in buttocks area. I also struggle with anxiety/p attacks. xrays show degen.in neck. What to do?
Your best bet: Is to review these issues with your primary care doctor. They could be anxiety related but may also be related to another process. You may be dealing with a type of arthirtis, autoimmune disorder, or even a conditon called raynaud's phenomenon (condition affecting the vessels in the hands); causing the hands to be cold and/or numb, turn red or even blue. AM stiffness: This is a common symptom in people who have arthritis of different kinds. Impossible to say what kind without an exam. For most people the stiffness works itself out after a little while. Hot showers or baths help. Gentle opening and closing of the fingers usually helps.
