I ve been sleeping with the fan blowing, I wake up with a stiff neck. Is it bad on the joints can t turn head without pain, what?
No it is not but it: Maybe related to the muscles feeling tight or stiff but it is not harmful toneck or your joints. If your neck is painful and it persists even without exposing it to a fan at night then see your physician for a diagnosis and recommendations especially to make sure it is not related to swollen glands due to an infection.

Hot water: Definitely! The Japanese knew about this centuries ago - hence their tradition of onsen. A hot bath or shower will do wonders! Of course rest and stretching of tired muscles even with some massage thrown in can do wonders. Best to 'listen' to your body... Pain is the language it uses to tell you 'stop doing' this or that. It helps to pay attention sometimes. Now I recommend taking it easy.
Fever and stiff neck, difficulty turning my head. Came on pretty suddenly and haven't had this stiffness before. Thoughts?
Heat & exercises: Without more information, it is not possible to try to determine the cause of your pain. Would recommend trying an otc NSAID along with stretching exercises. If the pain persists then you need to see your pcp.See 1 more doctor answer
My mom age 67 was working with a power saw. She now has a stiff neck and pressure of 175/60 for 2 nights. Hospital? Her pressure is usually low.
No: Rest, hot packs and anti-inflammatory medications should be tried first The blood pressure is unrelated and should be checked again after rest
My daughter is 15 yrs old and has stiff neck for 2 days now. Went to check w doctor they don't know what is it. She can't turn head side ways painful?
Torticollis: A sudden rotational deformity can be due to simple muscle spasm, or a pharynx abscess, and/or ear pain. Most often, the underlying diagnosis needs to be made before things get better. Temporary anti-inflammatories and immobilization for two or three days with a soft collar may do wonders. Warm a towel shortly in the microwave, and place this around her neck. Comfort measures do wonders! Good luck.See 1 more doctor answer
See the doctor: This is a problem that necessitates a face-to-face meeting with your doctor. This will allow him/her to examine you, ask specific questions. And possibly order tests to find out what's wrong and what to do to help you.See 1 more doctor answer

Wilson's Disease: Wilson's disease or hepatolenticular degeneration is an autosomal recessive genetic disorder in which copper accumulates in tissues; this manifests as neurological or psychiatric symptoms and liver disease. It is treated with medication that reduces copper absorption or removes excess copper. It may affect the eyes, liver, heart and parathyroids. Not aware of Vit D associated or stiff neck.
My two year old son seems to have a stiff neck, no fever presently and although he is not lethargic, he doesn't seem himself. Could this be serious?
Stiff neck: He may have a wry neck from sleeping in a wrong position. If it doesn't clear up in a day or two, consult your pediatrician another possibility are swollen lymph nodes following an upper respiratory infection.
See the picture: There are small nodes on each side of the jiont called hebreden node.See 1 more doctor answer
I am 17yrs old symptoms: pounding headache moodswings dizziness stiff neck/shoulder/back heavy head almost imposible to get my headup in the morning?
See your doctor: Although this could be viral; but the younger the age the more likely chance of bacterial infection. With stiff neck and not being able to get your headup I would worry about meningitis that can become dangerous. See your family md asap. If rapid decline go to nearest emergency room.
See a doctor: A stiff neck in a 4 year old is not typical. I would advise that you see your pediatrician asap (meaning today) to have him checked out. There are some serious causes of a stiff neck and this needs to be ruled out first. Please call your son's pediatrician today.
