No it is not but it : Maybe related to the muscles feeling tight or stiff but it is not harmful toneck or your joints. If your neck is painful and it persists even without exposing it to a fan at night then see your physician for a diagnosis and recommendations especially to make sure it is not related to swollen glands due to an infection. ...Read more

Hot water: Definitely! The Japanese knew about this centuries ago - hence their tradition of onsen. A hot bath or shower will do wonders! Of course rest and stretching of tired muscles even with some massage thrown in can do wonders. Best to 'listen' to your body... Pain is the language it uses to tell you 'stop doing' this or that.
