Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph everywhere for bad stuff like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts. Rare possibility: Side effects to this vaccine are rare but statistically possible. Your symptoms are listed as low possibility. Lymph nodes produce antibodies when the body begins to fight infection. Vaccines "trick" the body into thinking there is an infection so the antibodies are ready to attack the real virus quickly if it gets in you.
