Nonspecific: Could be that you have problem with neck arthritis resulting in secondary tension headache, but you may instead have a sinus or dental problem contributing to your symptoms. Normal for vertigo? Off balance, throbbing head with no pain, stiff neck, blurry vision off and on and I get a swaying sensation When I walk.

Most of the symptoms: are "normal" for vertigo, but Vertigo itself isn't "normal'. I don't usually find "stiff neck" as a symptom unless it's your body's natural attempt to lessen the symptoms. My general rule of thumb is that it should lessen in 3 days and be gone in a week or so. Meds help ease the symptoms. If you get nausea or vomiting, are falling or have numbness, tingling or weakness anywhere, get help! ...Read more
