My throat has been dry and a bit sore for 2 weeks. Slight blood in the mornings. It started after unprotected, rough oral sex. I'm worried I might have caught an std/throat cancer? It's dry/bit sore.
Get tested: If you have had unprotected oral sex, then there is a real possibility of a STD. You should definitely be tested. Don't worry about throat cancer which is extremely unlikely in a woman your age. It is most likely related to the sex, but even very rough oral sex should not cause soreness that lasts for 2 weeks. Usually not: By "strep throat symptoms, " i think you mean sore throat, fever, swollen glands, and tiredness lasting more than two or three days. If I do have an STD that causes feverish symptoms or sore throat, would the sore throat be consistent?
Sore throat : Most stds cause urimary symptoms like drainage from the opening of the penis or painful urination. It is not very common to have sore throats from stds. You could get a sore throat from herpes but that would be uncommon without lip or mouth lesions. Flat/painless red mark in throat possible std from oral on male, or bruising from brushing? Been there a week or so w/ no other symptoms.

Not an STD: First, there is no std that would cause the symptoms you describe. Second, tests done after ten weeks for gonorrhea, chlamydia, herpes, syphilis all should be valid.
