I have lill bump in back of my tongue. Is that std?

NO

Open-uri20130717-28302-eknazw
Not an STD. We all have bumps on the back of our tongues called circumvallate papillae. These help us to taste as well as secrete a type of saliva that helps to wash debris off of the papilla which helps them respond to taste stimulation quicker.

Std
Initial outbreak of HSV-1 has total mouth manifestations including the back of your tongue. But usually the entire mouth is affected. What exactly are your symptoms? See a dentist and have it evaluated and DO NOT FEEL embarrassed. It is a common finding in patients.

My boyfriend has these black dots on his tongue and im not sure if its an std. What should i do?

See MD or DDS

There are many things this could be, often nothing to worry about. Too many to list here. We would need a dialog as well(i.e. Does your boyfriend smoke?) The best thing to do is to let a dental professional like a an oral surgeon or general dentist look at area( or an ENT) to make sure there isn't a problem

Tongue bumps

Sexually_transmitted_infections
most likely these "bumps" are circumvallate papillae which are normal. these are part of your taste buds. saliva is released at the base of them. just to be sure have your dentist take a look

Dr. John DeWolf answered:

Can red lumps at the back of the tongue be any kind of sti or std?

Must be seen

The most likely cause of the bumps on the back of your tongue is that they are normal taste buds. If you have fears of sti or std, the only prudent course is to get a physical exam to know for sure what your situation is.

Painless red spots can be normal anatomy or it can be something else. I can't see your tongue, so see your physician and let him have a look!

Lumps on back of tongue and down throat, std?

Possible, not likely

Open-uri20131002-2461-1ra7wfn
The 'bumps'' on the back top of your tongue are circumvalate papillae-type of taste bud. On the sides are lingual tonsils. White bumps on/in the tonsils are generally sialoliths, or tonsil stones. They usually pass without notice, but can frequently create inflammation, mild pain and serious bad breath. See your dentist to be sure that it's not abnormality--especialy if high risk behaviors exist.

Is there an STD you can get on the tongue that is a red circle, is it Gonorrhea?

Yes, possible but

Open-uri20130330-13575-nblmja
More likely a 'red circle' on the tongue us a variant of normal anatomy or benign inflammatory condition called glossitis. It happens in response to trauma, viral or bacterial infection, or irritation (some spices). Either way, you should seek a consult to be sure. Until then, treat it as an STD and be responsible to your sexual partners.

I have pink dots in the of my tongue do I have a std It hurt when I eat and drink something to

See dentist

Open-uri20130329-3561-y6y4xe
Oral lesions range in their cause and treatment. Your best bet would be to see a dentist for a proper evaluation while the lesions are present. Most lesions in the mouth will resolve in 2 weeks so don't wait. My first guess would not be an std but this is not possible to say without seeing the tongue and getting a proper history. Best of luck.
