Could be: With your set of symptoms, it is possible that there is an STD at some stage, but there may be something else going on such as a UTI or a musculoskeletal problem. Wine should be okay: The bigger issue is the diagnosis. Most back pain in young people is muscular. However it is good you are aware other organ systems can produce back pain. Thus before we tell you to have a wine which you have to be careful w/given the Asprin you take, see a primary care or sports MD who can evaluate you with a good exam and likely refer you to PT presuming tests including an MRI and EMG are normal. ...Read more

Not likely: Based upon your information it seems as though the low back pain and pain running down your leg may be related to the same orthopedic process for which your doctor might order an MRI.
