Not recommended: OTC NSAID is a better choice. Tramadol is a rather unique analgesic drug that is indicated for moderate to moderately severe pain. Although it binds to mu receptors, tramadol is not technically classified as an opioid analgesic. Instead, it is classified as a centrally acting synthetic analgesic compound and therefore is not a scheduled narcotic drug. Consult with your PCP for more information. ...Read more

So far all tests and blood work ups do not show anything that explains frequent body aches/flu symptoms, should I give up on an answer?

2nd or 3rd opinion: No - I think it is important to try and get to the bottom of your symptoms - that would be the best way to figure out a plan to get better. Dx w/flu and was prescribed Tamiflu early. Now, 48 hours later, no flu symptoms. The Tamiflu caused bad effects. My doc said to stop mid-dose. Safe?

Even if you weren’t given TamiFlu, this flu would have resolved on its own and not recurred, so stopping TamiFlu early if you’re not tolerating it should have no ill consequence. ...Read more
