Ketosis: Most likely this is ketosis, but not ketoacidosis. Ketoacidosis occurs in people with type 1 diabetes and no insulin production. Ketosis occurs in all of us if we do not eat much, especially if we don't eat carbs. People on low carb diets have ketosis all the time. How was the wt lost?: Did you find out if there was a medical reason you gain wt? This is very important. Need to see a wt mngt med doctor. If it was a matter of eating incorrectly & not exercising, then the way to come out of starvation mode is to slowly reintroduce food over 4-6 wks. Continue to exercise 4/7 days min. Drink 64 ozs h2o.
