Can help but not cur: These are normal glands but can get plugged. The way to limit this is to keep the area as dry as possible and boxers to aerate. Some people are just more prone to them than others. Powder sometimes helps. ...Read more

Infection/inflammatn: There are many possible causes- most commonly infection or inflammation. Fungal infxn can develop from heat/moisture int his area (jock itch). The fact that it comes and goes makes worrisome infection less likely. Conditions like crabs, scabies, gonorrhea /chlamydia are also possible.
