Knee pain : It sounds like you have patellofemoral syndrome given the knee pain but it could be osteoarthritis being that it is involving both of your knees. Tinnitus : This is the perception of noise in the ear. Multiple issues,: There appears to be several things going on. A physician consult and studies, ie X-Ray, CT, MRI may be indicated. The crunching sounds like crepitus from a tendonitis or bone spurs. The swelling may come from muscular spasm which can be secondary to a multitude of problems with the cervical spine. A trial of warm moist compresses, massage,Motrin or Naprosyn (naproxen) may help. There : There are many potential causes to your stated clinical symptoms. Stiff neck by it self can be caused by extraneous and/or sustained activities in or around the neck area. They can occur with no clear cause too. The tinnitus and eye floaters can be independent of the stiff neck however. Apparently one affects hearing and the other one vision. A visit to your primary care doctor should be in order. From neurological perspective, they could all be from the same etiology, especially if they are on the same side of the body.
