Pcnl today. Staghorn to imbedded in tissue to remove. Tubes placed in stone to help loosen and dr will try again in 2 weeks. What purpose of tubes?

To drain the kidney.: Unfortunately I don't know the details of your procedure, but if a tube was left it is most likely a nephrostomy tube. Another possible tube is a ureteral stent, which serves a similar purpose. ...Read more

Possibly.: After a major kidney procedure such as a pcnl for such a large stone. Stone fragments, sediment, and blood clots may pass for weeks. This can be examined by the physician in a followup visit. ...Read more

Hello.: Hello. I understand that you are in a bind with no income or insurance. However, you don't need to have a diagnosis before you get care. I looked up clinics in altanta that provide charitable and free care. The best thing is not to delay getting evaluated. The medical provider will take a comprehensive history, physical exam and laboratory evaluation before making a differencial diagnosis.
There are 104 free/charity clinics in georgia.

Better to identify: You stated that you have kidney problem but did not elaborate to what extent the damage is. If you have kidney failure, tiredness is to be expected due to several reasons. Furthermore, there are many conditions that cause or contribute to lack of energy or tiredness. It is always important to find out the cause so that appropriate solution can be found. My suggestion to have through evaluation. ...Read more
