How effective is tomotherapy on tonsil cancer ?

Tonsil cancer: Most malignancies of the tonsil are non-keratinizing squamous cell carcinomas that are hpv-related. Could this be tonsil cancer? I am 22 years old and my right tonsil is much larger than the other it seems to be getting larger as the years go by.?

Unlikely : Based on your comment of having asymmetric tonsil size for years, it is unlikely that it is related to malignancy. Tonsils can commonly appear asymmetric with one looking larger than the other. This is most commonly related to one tonsil being embedded more deeply in the throat than the other which is a normal variant. The best advice is to have an exam by an ear, nose, and throat specialist. ...Read more
