Was is the life expectancy of a Woman with NASH cirrhosis recently diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer exhibiting grade 3 hepatic encephalopathy.

Poor prognosis: Regretfully, Stage 4 disease is associated with spread of the liver cancer to minimally nearby lymph nodes, and probably through into blood vessels. The treatment is typically chemotherapy, with/without embolization. The presence of an encephalopathic clinical picture also portends to a guarded at best prognosis.
