I was told not to drive (seizures)and apply for disability. Ssd takes approx 8months. What should I do?

Things to consider: You have been told not to drive. If you drive in spite of this instruction you void your car insurance (if they find out). You would be personally libel for all costs due to any wreck that happened during a related crash, both to vehicles and medical costs to injured parties, property. I am severe combined adult adhd+bipolar. The diagnosis charted is simply adult adhd, app. For ssd. How do I ask the dr. To correct the dx, w/o offending....?

Dx is not enough: Many people mistakenly over-focus on diagnosis. Diagnosis is never enough. Ask your doctor about treatment instead of diagnosis, especially if you still have severe symptoms. Ask your doctor whether he/she knows any patient in your similar situation getting ssd. In most cases, it is easier to get better from adhd/bipolar than to get ssd. Your doctor will not be offended if you try to get better. ...Read more
