Spotting On Aviane
What does it mean if I have had light dull cramping on and off until a week ago after a spotting period on aviane. 2 day ago neg pregnancy test.
I take Aviane continuously for 3 packs to skip period. I always spot in pack 3. Is there anyway to decrease spotting so I can get through 3rd pack?
Aviane: I would take the fourth week in this cycle and let yourself have a period then go back to skipping that week and taking it continuously next pack. That should eliminate breakthrough spotting.
I've been on Aviane for over a year and take it at the exact same time every day, but I started spotting a week before my period. What could it be? And does it affect the pill's effectiveness?
No: The longer you are on oral contracetives the more likely it is to experience some abnormal bleeding. As long as you have not missed pills, taken antibiotics, or had vomiting the pill should be effective.
Started Aviane 5 mo ago. Last month skipped placebo pills. Period lasted 2 wks (normal) but this month I did not get it. Only spotting. Normal or preg?
Been spotting brown with a lil bit of red. On my 2nd week of Aviane bcontrol. I Have pcos and got put on to stop bleeding (bled for 2Months) normal?
Yes: Sounds like the system is getting used to the new regimen. Give it about three cycles (months). If the bleeding is still irregular, a work up (ob/gyn) would be reasonable.
More information: It is not possible to answer this question without more information. When was your last period, how long did you spot, Does it hurt to urinate etc. Please see a doctor if you are experiencing any painful or concerning symptoms.
Retained menses: Brown spotting after a menses can last for several days. The color is due to the menstrual fluid staying in the vagina or coming out of the cervix so slowly that the exposure to air causes the hemoglobin to oxidize. It is common and normal in women and girls who are having regular menses. In.
Yes, it will...: Luprolex for females is one of brand names of leuprolide to competitively and eventfully decrease estrogen production; hence, its injection will cause expected uterine bleeding leading to potential need for treating blood-loss-related anemia. Menstrual bleeding: Light spotting refers to a small amount of vaginal blood flow, like a very light period. It can be normal to have spotting with ovulation or at the beginning or end of a normal period, or during the sugar pill week if taking birth control pill. If it happens while pregnant or after menopause, it should be checked out.
Depends: If you are spotting mid cycle between periods, it is likely due to ovulation. If you are spotting off and on and not having periods, then it is likely anovulatory breakthrough bleeding - and you should see your doctor for treatment options. If you are spotting off and on and having regular periods, you need to see your doctor as you may have a polyp, infection, fibroids, or endometriosis.See 1 more doctor answer
