Are loose stools normal in early pregnancy? Is it possible that this is how my body is dealing with morning sickness?

Loose stools: Loose stools are probably due to a dietary change brought on by your morning sickness and decrease appetite. Don't worry, your appetite will come around and you'll have the chance to get fat.

Is black loose stools during pregnancy first trimester normal?

Is black loose stools during pregnancy first trimester normal?

If on IRON: The iron in the prenatal vitamin, or if you are even on a supplemental Iron pill can cause the stool to be black. Call your GYN to assure you are on an iron supplement. If so, most likely fine, but at next visit, you could always have your stool checked for heme to be safe. Best wishes.

Go to Hospital: When you are having loose stools and cramping in pregnancy, it is important to make sure that your baby is Ok and that you are not dilating. Watch for baby movements and go right away to the hospital birthing center. All will be well. It is better to be safe.

Duration?: Hi. Are these symptoms new or chronic? If acute, you may just have a GI bug that will clear itself within days. If chronic, you need to consider things like inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, etc. Any mucous and/or blood in stool? If it's chronic, or doesn't resolve promptly, please see your doc. Good luck!

Is dull back pain, slight abdominal cramping, diarrhea, nausea and brown speckled, but chunky discharge during early pregnancy normal?

No: These are symptoms that should prompt an er visit or an emergency call to your ob-gyn. Taken indivudually, they can be considered part of the discomforts of pregnancy, but when they happen together as it sounds like it is going on now, they may be symptoms of possible miscarriage.

How many days spotting in early pregnency?

How many days spotting in early pregnency?

It varies: Most of normal pregnancy should not have any bleeding during early pregnancy. However, it is common to have spotting or bleeding during first few weeks of pregnancy. It appears that 10-15% women during their early pregnancy has some bleeding. Some even have heavey bleeding. Be sure to check with doctor. I do see several patients with heavey bleeding still have viable pregnancy.

Is diarrhia normal during pregnancy?

Is diarrhia normal during pregnancy?

NO!: Diarrhea is never normal. If anything pregnancy can give you constipation from the Progesterone effects. If you are experiencing diarrhea episodically or recurrently during pregnancy check your thyroid function because hyperthyroidism can be the reason. Also consider gastrointestinal evaluation for irritable bowel or inflammatory bowel diseases which are quite common in young women.

If you have light spotty bleeding for three months during the time of your period that lasts 5-7 days should u worry about pregnancy? Virgin, scared?

No: If you haven't had sex then you have nothing to worry about regarding possible pregnancy. If you are having irregular periods, then most likely due to your hormones, estrogen and progesterone. It sounds as if the period is normal, only lighter than usual. This is perfectly okay.
