Recently had a cystoscopy, found red spots on bladder. Going in for biopsy but doctor feels may just be inflammation. What could that besides cancer?
Likely benign: Inflammation of the bladder, commonly called Cystitis, is quite common especially in women. So a biopsy via the Cystoscope will be useful if you have persistent symptoms of frequent and painful urination. Cystoscopy.: A camera in the bladder is a procedure called cystoscopy. Unfortunately, without being at the procedure or seeing captured images, i can't be certain what the spots might be. It can range from benign or inflammatory changes to spots that might be suspicious for bladder cancer. Wat do they do if u have a tumor in ur bladder? Ct scan saw white spot top of bladder. Everything checked ok. Had bit of pain peeing & bit blood
Go see Urologist: Go see your family doc who can refer you to a urologist who can then perform a cystoscopy to evaluate what was noted on ct. S/he can also take a biopsy or sample of what they find in order to identify what, if anything, is there.
