A few days but....: Don't 'pop' the floss between your teeth and hitting the gums. Gently see-saw the floss between your teeth slowly. Once you get between the teeth gently go under the gumline to remove any plaque. I like to floss after brushing before rinsing to help push the toothpaste chemicals between the teeth.
