Prob NL recovery: This is prob normal. Your scabs on your tonsils are drying up & sloughing at about this time into your recovery. So minor bleeding is OK. Watch for sig bleeding though. You could have bleeding gums which can often be present without pain. I would begin by seeing your dentist. IN ANY CASE your symptoms are not normal and you must get the bleeding tracked down!

You need to determine where the blood is coming from. Could be your gums, could be from stomach, nose, sinuses, etc. Seek a medical and a dental consult asap.

No: How do you know the blood is not from the gums? Teeth don't usually bleed unless a big piece of a tooth comes out and the nerve is exposed. But that is rare and most people do have gingivitis, so ot's more likely to be from the gums. Unless you have stomach issues. That could also be a cause. Not likely: If you are spitting blood something quite serious is going on, but it is not likely due to HIV infection. If you had aids due to HIV (and this would be far too early even if you were infected, which you are not), then some of the opportunistic infections or tumors due to immune suppression might cause hemoptysis (blood in sputum).
