Can taking Propranolol 80mg and Spironolactone 25mg together for extended periods of time cause infertility? I've taken them for close to a year now.
Can spironolactone lower your androgens to low? Labs below normal level. Is that desired or will it cause problems? Taking bc too.

See your gyn: Spironolactone blocks androgens (hormones that cause "male" effects like extra hair growth or acne) from their receptors. The extra androgens are converted to estrogen in your body and the estrogen can cause vaginal bleeding. Spironolactone is a diuretic and not a proper treatment for acne. Did someone prescribe it? If someone did please discuss it with her/him. If it was not prescribed by a doctor, quit using it.
